Carolyn Riddell | President, investHUMAN
Carolyn brings deep, practical experience shaped over more than 30 years in industrial operations, corporate training and leadership development.
Carolyn’s studies at the University of Western Ontario (UWO) focused on business, psychology and sociology—disciplines that established an early foundation for understanding organizations, individual behaviour and group dynamics. That foundation has been strengthened through decades of applied operational experience. Today, investHUMAN’s work is further informed by current research in organizational behaviour and workplace performance from leading institutions, including MIT, Harvard University and the University of Toronto.
Her professional career includes serving as the Operational Training Specialist at TOYODA Gosei; Training Manager at BASES (formerly IEC); and Manager of Corporate Training at Lambton College.
Her client work includes several multinational industrial organizations operating in Sarnia, Ontario. This experience has given Carolyn a deep understanding of the pressures facing industrial organizations: demanding schedules, multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and the realities of frontline leadership.
Her work has often brought her alongside leaders, supervisors, employees, unions and community partners—often where priorities compete, stakes are high and trust matters. Through thoughtful questions, she guides candid conversations toward practical resolution, bringing industrial experience and a genuine interest in how people experience their workplace.
Outside her work, Carolyn values family, deep friendships, travel and time on the water.
